Students of Singapore International School enjoy a well-rounded educationSingapore International School operates under the management of KinderWorld Education Group. Founded in Singapore in 1986, the group established international primary schools under the brand name of Singapore International School (SIS) in 2004 in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

SIS, with links to various schools in Singapore and Australia, offers an International Primary and Secondary Programme for international students, which is largely based on criteria set out by the Ministry of Education, Singapore and the Eight Key Learning Areas of the Australian Curriculum. The combination is based on the fact that the Singapore curriculum is highly acclaimed throughout the world for its excellence in English, Mathematics and Science, while the Australian curriculum is internationally recognised for its strength in creativity and thinking skills.

Further, SIS collaborates with ChildrenWorld Private School, which offers an Integrated Primary and Junior High School Programme for Vietnamese students. In the Integrated Programme, Year 1 to Year 9 students are taught the full Vietnamese curriculum, as regulated by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training and for the international component, English under the Singapore curriculum and The Arts, Music, Studies of Society and Environment, Information & Communications Technology, Health and Physical Education of the Australian curriculum taught in English by foreign teachers of SIS.

In ensuring the best outcome for students, SIS is committed to continuously ensure the quality of education programmes through International quality assurance and accreditation benchmark standards. Primary students take the iPSLE (International Primary School Examination) from Singapore at the end of the primary level. Secondary students take the Cambridge IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) in the final secondary school year. Vietnamese students undertaking the IGCSE are required to undertake, in addition to IGCSE subjects, Vietnamese Literature, History and Geography as per the Department of Education and Training’s regulation. Cambridge International AS and A Level or GAC Programme will be undertaken in the final year of High School study which provides access to many universities worldwide.

Located in convenient locations, there are seven campuses of Singapore International School in operations nationwide – Ha Noi (Cau Giay, Ciputra and Van Phuc), Da Nang (Le Loi), Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon South), Binh Duong (Binh Duong New City) and Vung Tau (Dai An). In addition, all campuses are well equipped with various facilities and modern teaching equipment to develop students to their fullest potential. Besides modern facilities, teachers play an important role in instilling a love for knowledge to students.
